What do you do with old t-shirts, bed sheets or curtains? If you have some extra fabric and you’re wondering how you can turn it into a great upcycled DIY craft, then these fabric coil bowls are something you’ll want to try.
This easy craft uses strips of fabric to build the bowl, and cord is used to hold it all together. It is simply a matter of wrapping the cord around the fabric strips to stitch it all together. For those who enjoy embroidery or sewing, this is a fun way to put your needle skills to use. I love this DIY idea because it is easy enough for crafters of any skill level.
Do you have some extra fabric that you don’t know what to do with it? See how to frame it and turn it into a beautiful piece of art to hang on the wall.
There are lots of ways that you can use fabric to create accent pieces for your home. Cover a corkboard with fabric and now you have a pretty place to pin-up your family calendar, chore lists, or important phone numbers.
If you’re on a budget, a framed piece of fabric is an affordable way to hang a piece of artwork on a large wall. It’s also an easy way to decorate a nursery.

This little purse is so cute and I can’t believe that it’s a no-sew project. All you need are a few supplies and you’re ready to create a coin purse, cell phone holder, or larger clutch. You can make it whatever size you want.
All it takes to make this purse is a pretty piece of fabric, some duct tape, scissors and a stapler. Oh, and a small piece of velcro if you’d like to fasten the flap closed. This short video gives you all the details.
I hope you have fun making this no-sew project. I may give this a try to make a crayon case for my daughter. The duct tape would wipe clean so easily!

What do you do when your favorite jeans get too worn out for you to wear anymore? Here are a few ideas for how to recycle and reuse those jeans as bows, shorts, cell phone cases, notebook cases and lots of other cute ideas.
On top of reusing the denim from the jeans, you can also take off pieces of the jeans and create others. Get creative and think of ways that you can recycle the zipper, buttons and leather labels to make some new and fun clothes or accessories.
This video isn’t a how-to video, but rather a run-through of ideas. Great for teens and tweens. It’s a little scattered for me, but still gave me some thoughts and ideas.
