This tissue paper garland tutorial was created for a Cinco de Mayo celebration, but I think it’s perfect for any party or holiday gathering. Use whatever color tissue paper that goes with your theme, or with the holiday. So pastels would be perfect for Easter and a red/white combination could be used for Christmas or Valentine’s Day.

This fun craft would be fun to make with the kids. I love that it’s so inexpensive and just takes a little tissue paper to create.
To get a pretty detailed edge on the flowers, Yvonne used an edge puncher. This gives the flowers a level of detailing that you can’t get with scissors, but you certainly could use the same steps in the tutorial to make a flower garland without the use of an edger.
