One of the things that I love about arts and crafts is that there is no limit to the products that can be used to make beautiful crafts. Some of the most beautiful things cost next to nothing and are super easy to make. These glue gun earrings are the perfect example.
Four Front Doors has a great tutorial for how to make these pretty earrings. Can you believe that they are made by painting glue blobs? Who would have thought that glue could be so beautiful.
On top of being easy to make, I also like this project because it doesn’t cost much to make these earrings. A glue gun, paints, earring jump rings and E-6000 glue. The only thing you may not have on hand is a non-stick silicone mat, but I think that you could probably use waxed paper just as easily.
I hope you have fun creating your own glue gun earrings. Make a pair for yourself and as a gift for someone special.
Fashion magazines and runway shows are a great way to get ideas for creating jewelry. You get to see the latest trends and colors and then use those images as the foundation for making a design that is all your own.
Like this beautiful purple crystal necklace from Because I’m Addicted. She pulled her inspiration from the Chanel fashion show and some stunning pieces that were probably worth thousands. But with that vision in mind, she set off to recreate the necklace…the DIY way of course.

Take an old water bottle and turn it into a fun bangle bracelet that you can wear alone, or layer with other bracelets. This is recycling and upcycling at its very best!
How to Make a Water Bottle Bracelet
The premise of this DIY bracelet is that you’ll sandwich some pretty paper between two layers of plastic cut from a water bottle. Finish off the edges with an adhesive tape that holds it all together, but that also adds a pretty contrast to the pattern in the paper.
Supplies for this craft are minimal. You’ll just need some paper, glue, decorative adhesive tape and a water bottle. An inexpensive way to accessorize your outfit. You can make the bangles as thin or as thick as you’d like, so you can create lots of variations for mixing and matching.
Make a beautiful beaded cuff bracelet with whatever beads, buttons or stones you’d like to use. Go for a neutral look, or add a bunch of color for a summertime bracelet that will brighten-up any outfit.
These bracelets would make a great Mother’s Day Gift too.
